A town called Hill Road is known for ghosts and shadows and yet Mr. Mark thinks of these as nothing but fantasies. Until he failed to rescue a vital deal and the next thing he knew Mr. Mark got accused of murder. A lawyer Ms. Queen saved him under a contract, and it's not normal. Mr. Mark faced many unsettling events and had many doubts including Ms Queen's intentions. He then found the truth.
Mr. Mark had a dream for this technology company but after being accused of murder he lost everything especially his home and so Ms. Queen offered him a place to stay and he met her family. Mr. Mark started to see ghosts and shadows. He noticed there was something weird going on and determined to find out.
One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "Sometimes it's good when things go wrong, take it as a part of our life." Mr. Mark's life has turned upside down but he found out that it should be considered as part of this life.
Thoughts - The chapters are short so its easy to read and yet I love how it describes the story powerfully, plus the last part makes me want to know the next book. It's so exciting. If you like ghosts story then this book is perfect for you.
