Asher Donovan is a football legend, he is a great player, but he can be reckless which was why he had to be transferred to another team that caused controversy and his rival turn teammate costs them a championship, they are forced to bon during off-season training. Asher thought the summer would be a breeze, and wouldn't have any problem until he met his new trainer who is pretty and talented he wouldn't stop thinking about her but there is a problem, she happened to be his rival's sister and off limits.
Scarlett DuBois is a former prima ballerina, due to an accident, her career was cut short. So she teaches at a prestigious dance academy but the past is still haunting her and she is forcing herself to avoid the handsome football player when her brother leaves town for a family emergency. But as they train together, she knows she cannot fall in love since Asher can break her heart.
One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "I've been here since day one, darling. I was simply waiting for you to join me." First of all, I love the nickname and it shows Scarlett had fears of falling in love because of her previous relationship but that doesn't stop Asher from showing her why its worth it.
Thoughts - I think this is one of the best sports romances I've ever read, and of course, some characters from the previous books were included in this book which excited me. Plus its also the bond between Asher and Scarlett's brother that I enjoyed.
Here are similar books to read -

I give this book a rating of 4/5. I hope everyone has a good day and I will see you soon.
