Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.
An attorney Louisa "Lulu" Malone has been working hard, it's the only thing she's been doing until during the Renaissance Faires Day, she realized that she got tired and needed an escape from the real world. So she joined the festival with turkey legs, taverns, and tarot readers but there is one problem, which is Dex MacLean.
He is a handsome guitarist, very popular in Renaissance Faires, and happens to be her traveling companion for the entire summer. She has to spend days and nights with him, and her interest in him grows while he shows her a side of him that no one else knows. She enjoys her vacation however by the end of summer she has to make decisions, her career or Dex.
Lulu comes from a successful family, and she has the pressure of being a successful employee. Her cousin Mitch though was the one who introduced her to the world of Renaissance Faires, a festival to have a good day. The second time she returns, Lulu throws her phone away to cut off her life, to enjoy food, music, and fortune-telling.
She has to spend her summer with Dex, he is the kind of guy who spends his night with a different girl, music is his life. Lulu believed that he wouldn't be into holding hands, having conversations, or simple gestures. But Dex is proving her wrong. He is showing Lulu his soft side, as in how he is willing to bring coffee to her every morning or comfort her. Lulu finds it hard to make a decision, she needs to decide which is worth it, being a lawyer or being with Dex.
I like how the characters are opposite to each other, the hard-working woman who is trying to get a break, and the man who loves to party is trying to be serious. That is why Lulu and Dex were perfect for each other.
