Isn't It Bromantic? by Lyssa Kay Adams

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I love chick lit series, the way the author creates stories not only for the main characters but also for their side characters, the best friends having their own story. Like this book so let's start the summary.

Elena Konnikova spent her while adult life in the shadows. Her father who is a Russian journalist mysteriously disappeared, and she escaped the danger by being married to her childhood best friend Vladimir. He moved to America to become a professional hockey player in Nashville. He thought being married to Elena would make him happy but it had always been a one-sided relationship, so he joined the Bromance Book Club to help him understand how to love his wife in a better way. He learned that he deserves better than this. Elena came back to his life to take care of her husband after he got injured. All the past has come back to them, and they will learn all the secrets and learn to love each other again.

Vlad has been supporting his friends when they were having problems with their relationships, in this book, it's his turn to be taken care of. Along with his neighbor friends, the book club helps Vlad to see what he needs to do to be better in relationships, and to be a better husband. As for Elena, the wives from the book club and friends from the neighborhood helps her with how she needs to be honest with her husband, to be a better wife.

One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "Our society has allowed men to away with a lack of emotional intelligence by equating the expression of a full of a range of human emotion with femininity." The Bromance Book Club reads books not just to be better men for their women, they read romance novels for themselves. They read what the characters go through and it is relatable. Such as men crying and being emotional is normal, There is nothing wrong with that.

Here are similar books to read -
