Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. For some reason, I love the grumpy/sunshine trope, everyone on Instagram loves that kind of trope like this book so let's get started with the summary.
Amelia Rose also known as Rae Rose spent years having the reputation of being princess pop. With inspiration from Audrey Hepburn's movie Roman Holiday she drove off in the middle of the night to take a break to the closest Rome she could travel to, Kentucky. She then meets Noah Walker in front of his lawn, her car got broke down and the last thing he wants is to help her, he tried to focus on his pie shop. He then lets Amelia stay in his house until the car gets fixed. Noah starts to see the singer in a different way, wasn't expecting her to be different, being kindhearted and goofy, and yet the struggle she went through. It brought him close to her. She has to leave for her tour. Until then Noah shows her the beauty of the small town, to have the best experience of being normal and in return, Amelia helps him to open his heart. They couldn't resist falling in love with each other.
Noah lives in a small town, the kind where everyone knows what happened with his love life. He learned the hard way that he cannot fall in love without getting hurt and betrayed. When he met Amelia, he has expectations of her being the typical pop star who doesn't care about anything or anyone but herself. But she proved him wrong. Noah didn't expect her to be warm and kind. He had to remind himself that he cannot fall in love with Amelia because she will leave the town but he couldn't resist her.
One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "No ones love anything they're miserably chained to." Amelia loves singing since she was young
