My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I love reading chick lit especially the grumpy/sunshine trope, and this book is one of them so let's get started with the summary.

Taylor wants to help her brother by going on a vacation to relax on Cape Cod, which got ruined by discovering a corpse in their rental house. A mysterious bounty hunter has been hired to catch the killer, and Taylor wants to be part of the investigation but he didn't allow her. But she always gets involved, plus no matter how hard they try, they feel attracted to each other.

Taylor is a second-grade teacher, she got time to have a vacation with her brother. After finding the corpses, and knowing that the bounty hunter has to find the killer she gets involved because she believed that it is a way to get out of her comfort zone. People assumed that she plays safe and doesn't do anything risky and so Taylor wants to prove them wrong. Myles is a bounty hunter, he is only passing by to get the case done but it is impossible to do that with Taylor who is being beautiful, smart, and brave. He wants to put all the distractions aside to get the job done otherwise he will start to think meeting her was a sign. A sign for his future.

One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "This won't be a story we tell the grandkids. This one is just for us." Taylor and Myles will make memories while they go through the investigation after they solve the case and the story will be only for them, no one else.
