Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. One day, I wanted a book to get out of the reading slump, and to do that is reading the genre to step out of my comfort zone, a mystery thriller. This has both mystery thriller and chick lit, so let's get started with the summary.

Meddelin Chan went on a blind date and accidentally killed him, she called her mother who also called her sisters. They all without a doubt wanted to help Meddelin for getting rid of the body. But it is challenging for disposing of the body since it was accidentally shipped in a cake cooler to the top billionaire's wedding. Meddelin and her aunties had to work at the Island resort on the California coastline. Things get even worse when the former love of her life made an appearance in the middle of the wedding chaos. She has to find a way to get away from the murder and pull off a stunning wedding.

Meddlin works as a photographer at her family's wedding business. She, her mom, and her aunties have the biggest job in a very expensive wedding which is why they have to make sure they do their jobs perfectly while getting rid of the body.

One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "You're not a mess. You just kill by accident only. Bad luck. Can happen to anyone." I love how when Meddelin was in a trouble, her mom and her aunties came for help without hesitation and would do anything to fix the problem.

Here are similar books to read -
Amercian Panda by Gloria Cho

I give this book a 5/5 rating. I hope everyone has a good day and I will see you soon.
