Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.
Quinn Berkowitz's parents are wedding planners and Tarek Berowitz's parents own catering business, both of the families have been working for years. Quinn confessed her feelings to Tarek by sending him an email, said she likes him. However, he left for college without replying to her.
She wasn't looking forward to seeing him again the same way she felt for playing the harp at the weddings to contribute to the family business. After going to college and coming back for the summer, Tarek seems more handsome and cuter than before. We kept meeting in weddings with difficulties such as cake problems, filling in for the missing bridesmaid and groomsman. They cant have a civil conversation. Quinn knows she stills has feelings for Tarek, she learned the truth on the reason Tarek didn't respond to her email and they started to open for each other. Along with that, she starts to have a double life, while she plays the harp, does wedding tasks only to make her parents happy, she goes to a workshop and learns the art of harp making from a teacher.
Quinn doesn't believe in grand gestures because she thinks they are fake, they don't mean anything because, in the end, someone will get heartbroken. Tarek loves doing grand gestures, it is what he does to ask a girl on a date such as renting a boat for the night. They are opposites and yet somehow they understand each other.
Quinn has been in the wedding planner for a long time, she had to miss school events like proms to do the wedding tasks, her elder sister Asher is engaged and wanted to continue the family business as for Quinn she felt as if her parents treat her as an employee, not as their daughter.
So to conclude, Quinn made a grand gesture for Tarek by pouring out her feelings in an email and didn't get a response, they meet again for the weddings and need to find a way to work it out.
