10 Things I Hate About Pinky by Sandhya Menon

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I started reading the Dimple Meets Rishi series earlier this year, I enjoyed reading the first and second book so much I really wanted to read the third book because I know it's going to epic. These books are filled with romance, strong female characters with unique personalities. And I love all the book covers, them smiling is the best thing ever. Let's begin with the summary.

Pinky Kumar is a rebel teenager, she likes to do charity for raccoon hospitals, likes to have fun with her friends and she is really tough. Pink had a plan of having a lazy summer with her cousin but after listening to her parents talking about their daughter making bad decisions Pinky wanted to prove them wrong.

Samir Jha is the opposite, he had to take care of his mom when she had cancer. He likes to keep everything control, keeps a schedule in his planner. He had a plan of doing an internship in Washington, D.C. but his internship has fallen through and Samir needs a new plan. He then gets a call from Pink, asking him to come to the lake house and to pretend they are a couple for her parents. Samir is different from all the guys Pinky dated, the kind who doesn't steal or doesn't end up in jail. Pinky and Samir made an agreement that they will pretend that they're boyfriend and girlfriend so that Samir can impress her parents in order to get an internship.

The most aspect of the story is two people don't have anything in common except they have a common friend but other than that they don't like to get along, and they argue all the time. Pinky and Samir are only doing because they had a goal and wanted to achieve. But slowly there will be sparks between them, they started to see each other in a different way. They realized despite having differences being together brought so much happiness to Pinky and Kumar. They make each other feel like they have never felt it before.

The quote I like the most is, 'Sometimes, being in control is the only thing you have going for you' this is what Samir learn during the time his mom was sick, he didn't get to have a normal life like Pinky with her parents, having the resources and the support she is getting. Samir wanted to keep everything in control, being responsible.

So to conclude, two people name Pinky and Samir decided to have a fake relationship to get what they want, and all that will change during the summer.
